Read on&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Today we&#8217;re&nbsp;launching Cockney as a new language, adding to the 130+ already available on our new cross-platform app&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/utalk.com\/utalk\">uTalk<\/a>. She&#8217;s<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> had a lot of fun finding ways to make genuine Cockney slang work with our language games and negotiating the<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> controversy over what is and isn\u2019t Cockney. We\u2019ve gone for a more traditional interpretation and tried to avoid Mockney \u2013 the use of famous people\u2019s names that\u2019s come out of Essex.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">There are lots of traditional Cockney words for parts of the body and money, but more modern language isn&#8217;t always represented. So w<\/span><span class=\"s1\">e&#8217;ve brought in some fun new modern phrases like Plastic Fantastic (Credit Card) and hope it will make people smile, celebrate and most importantly debate the language, feeding back on words in use.
