About Neapolitan

Neapolitan is the language spoken in the city of Naples, Italy and in a range of forms across Southern Italy. It is related to but generally not mutually intelligible with Italian. Influences include Latin, Greek, Spanish and French. It is considered an endangered language by UNESCO and is principally an oral language used in informal situations.
