At uTalk, we hate boring legal stuff like this document. We want you to have fun and start learning, but we’ve been reliably informed that we need this document in place to protect both us and you.
We’d be really grateful if you could read through it, because by using uTalk, you agree to the terms in this document. We hate reading these as much as you do though, so we’ve tried to summarise below.
The short version:
We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:
(a) information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths);
(b) information that you provide to us when registering with our website (including your email address)
(c) information that you provide when completing your profile on our website (including your name, address and postcode);
(d) information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to uTalk and/or newsletters (including your name and email address)
Personal information supplied to us will be used only for the purposes of managing your subscription.
We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password- and firewall-protected) servers.
We are registered as a data controller with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
