This is a great new product from uTalk. It's similar to uTalkGo except it can be used across multiple platforms (including laptops and non-iOS phones) and the topics are a la carte, so you can choose whichever you need to learn. Excellent and thorough! The 3.7 rating on here seems quite unfair; most complaints appear to be from people expecting more for free (and you actually can get a decent amount for free if you put the effort in). It's not really intended for 'dipping in and out of' like Duolingo or Drops, but as it's a bit more intense, I felt like I've learnt faster with uTalk than I did with Duolingo. If you're willing to put the work in, this is a solid app. And keep your eye out for decent offers too :)Mike ThorpeAndroid  

This language app is so good because there are so many languages and you can hear native speakers say the words so you know how to say the wrds properly. I'm also so happy they have Kurdish! No app has Kurdish and especially so you can hear the people speak so I'm really happy I found an app that has Kurdish in both dialects too!Zara9898iPhone

Used this app the whole time I was abroad in 3 different countries as it has so many practical phrases. The app is straightforward and very easy to use. Plus, it has loads of languages to choose from. I found the slow pronunciation feature particularly helpful as it breaks down the words so it's easier to practice. Fantastic app, great and responsive customer service. Definitely aimed more at getting someone conversational than learning all the nuances of a language, but it's very informative in that aspect.
