Used this app the whole time I was abroad in 3 different countries as it has so many practical phrases. The app is straightforward and very easy to use. Plus, it has loads of languages to choose from. I found the slow pronunciation feature particularly helpful as it breaks down the words so it's easier to practice. The interface is very user friendly, you don't end up getting lost in tabs and links. It's bright and colourful, and has clear pictures for the new vocabulary. The choice of languages is very good. uTalk helped me learn French just a week before my holiday, I was able to download a language and continue using the app without a network connection which came in extremely handy on the go when needing to refresh my memory and top up on my French. I have absolutely loved this app. It’s the only app I have found that teaches the correct Egyptian Arabic instead of just general arabic and so far it has helped me so much to communicate with my husbands family however I have got so far earning coins to go into new topics and I am now at the point where I have completed topics so have no way of earning anymore so either have to buy coins or pay the subscription to continue which is very disappointing as I didn’t want to stop using this app

As an enthusiastic user of over a dozen languages in the company's earlier Talk Now! app and related products for PCs and Macs it's interesting to see the evolution to the current uTalk app. There are four things that really draw me to uTalk and their earlier eurotalk products. First, relatively speaking they are not nearly as expensive as some of their competitors. Second, the range of languages is much greater than their main competitors by a wide margin. They have had every language that I've wanted to explore. Third, the exercises tend to be relatively short, often taking 5 minutes or less. I can pop in and do a little bit of practice in a short time. Some other products I know when I use them I'm going to need a much longer chunk of time before I get to a convenient stopping point and end up deciding against doing it as a result. And fourth, they have terrific support, and I don't want to suggest I've had any major problems with the eurotalk or uTalk products but I have on occasion had the odd question or two and I've never been disappointed by the friendliness and quality of response I've gotten from their support team.Terry MillsAndroid
