uTalk helped me learn French just a week before my holiday, I was able to download a language and continue using the app without a network connection which came in extremely handy on the go when needing to refresh my memory and top up on my French. I recently downloaded this app so that I could learn Turkish and I am very pleased with the high quality structure of the lessons. The topics have a layout that allows you to learn new words and memorise them making the learning process easy and fun. I was happy to find a language app that had Yoruba! Ended up becoming interested through having a close friend, and was bummed when my usual language apps had nothing for Yoruba. In just a day I've been able to learn a couple words. Not as fun as other game like learning apps, but actually able to retain what I learn from my 30 mins of studying. I’m moving to Canada soon so I thought it would be a good idea to learn French. I’ve been wanting to for years and tried many programs. I purchased UTalk awhile ago but hadn’t started with it and instead went with the much touted Babbel. Babble was boring me and wasn’t fun so I opened up UTalk. OMG! What a difference! I’ve learned more, it’s fun, I get to challenge myself, I love playing the games! Thank goodness for the snail feature! I like the speaking feature because I can hear the hesitancy and know I need to become more confident. The games are great and prove if you make learning fun and challenging you learn more, faster! And thanks for showing me there is French and Canadian French!kodiwodiiPhone
