About Armenian

There are two modern branches of the Armenian language: Eastern and Western. Eastern Armenian is the official language of Armenia while Western Armenian is largely spoken by people living outside Armenia. Speakers of the different branches can understand some of the language spoken by each other but opinions differ as to how much. uTalk Armenian uses Eastern Armenian speech and spelling.
