This is the language spoken in the Indian state of Punjab and is one of the 22 official languages of India. Punjabi uses different tones - high, mid and low - as well as stresses, both of which can differentiate between otherwise identical words. Indian Punjabi also uses many Hindi and English loanwords - like the English word ‘bus’ in the audio clip below. There is some mutual intelligibility with Pakistani Punjabi but interestingly they both use different scripts.
